This is the soap blended and created based on the strong wish of SATOW Toshi, to preserve a delicate aroma culture. An original blend of more than 20 natural aromatics, including bergamot, rose, sandalwood, jasmine, patchouli, lavender, etc., nicely added by more than 200 aromas including musk, which yields very original aroma.
The Tawaraya’s original towels, fabricated at Imabari which is a well-known city for its spinning and weaving of the best quality cotton, are woven with the very long extra-fine-single-fiber cotton which gives delightfully soft to the touch. There are 3 types of towels: Wash Towels, Face Towels and Bath Towels with Tawaraya logo embroidered.
We are continuously improving the quality of our beddings since we consider the sleeping which composes one third of our daily life is very important for us. Tawaraya’s floor futon made of floss painstakingly crafted by using 10,000 of cocoons, and the comforter (the covering futon) made with down-ball of white goose of Poland. We started to create nightwears 25 years ago focusing on the comfortability of gauze textile, which fortunately has been able to give great pleasure to all their users. We utilize double-layered gauze for summer, and herringbone textile for winter with gauze textile on the reverse side. Both are 100% cotton and great for absorbency. In order to pursue softness fit to the body and design, we have repeatedly redesigned them, and now we carry 20 variations of nightwears, among which you could select the one suitable for you.
‘Gallery Yukei’, its start was that SATOW Toshi, the current owner, by seriously selecting the materials and creating her own designs, had created its original items for the guests of the Tawaraya to be able to enjoy their stay. The Tawaraya’s linen textile, weaving differently the linen threads which are carefully selected, is utilized in various appointments of the Tawaraya.
